Founded in August 2021, Jimi Biotechnology is committed to the development of cultivated meat products, with a focus on beef. The team consists of cellular biologists, scientists in food materials science and aeronautical engineering, and has a breadth of experience in establishing unlimited expansion animal cells and developing serum-free medium.

We are looking for

Cell Line Development Manager

Job responsibilities:

Responsible for cell culture and the establishment of 3D animal muscle and adipose cell proliferation and differentiation methods;

Establish and optimize the 3D cell culture methods, record the parameters during the culture process, and optimize the culture process;

Research on tissue engineering methods for cultivated meat;

Work closely with the culture media team, test and provide feedback;

Assist in the establishment of immortalized cell lines;

Continuously explore and learn relevant knowledge related to cultivated meat.

Job requirements:

Experience in establishing spontaneously immortalized cell lines is preferred;

A Ph.D. in molecular biology, cell biology, or related majors with overseas study experience;

Strong teamwork skills, passion for the cultivated meat industry, and a passion for sharing knowledge;

Proficient in English, with no barriers to reading English literature.

Serum-free medium development engineer

Job responsibilities:

Develop serum-free cell culture medium with low-cost products of plant and microorganism;

Coordinate with the cell group to examine the efficacy of the culture medium and adjust the recipe;

Optimize the cost and recipe of serum-free medium.

Job requirements:

Experience in serum medium development;

Master degree or above in pharmaceutical chemistry, food chemistry, microbiology, cell biology and other related fields.

Bioinformation analysis expert (can be Part-time)

Job responsibilities:

Participate in the company's projects and complete the functional prediction and analysis method optimization of small molecule compounds;

Responsible for building and optimizing the prediction and analysis platform of small molecule compounds;

Participate in and guide the study of pharmacokinetics and in vitro metabolism of small molecule compounds.

Job requirements:

Doctor degree or Ph.D. in drug analysis, analytical chemistry, pharmacy, bioinformatics and related fields;

More than two years of experience in chemical transcription factor research;

Proficient in virtual screening molecular simulation technology and drug screening management system (DSMS);

Proficient in small molecule analysis technology, with experience in small molecule compound development;

Good communication skills and teamwork spirit.

Cell Culture Process Development Manager

Job responsibilities:

Responsible for the research and development of the company's cell culture amplification process, including but not limited to high-density cell culture, large-scale breeding, and cell suspension domestication;

Improve the process flow of large scale proliferation and differentiation to enhance efficiency and stability;

Responsible for formulating the standard operating procedures (SOP) for large-scale cell culture production;

Collaborate closely with other research and development teams to efficiently complete research and production tasks according to the company's goals.

Job requirements:

Master's degree or above in biology related engineering or related fields;

More than 5 years of experience in bioprocess development and large-scale animal cell cultivation; if you have a doctoral degree, fewer years of experience is acceptable;

More than 2 years of experience in animal cell suspension domestication;

Experience in team management;

Strong self motivation, willingness to share, and good communication skills.
